The Outer Shell

The helmet’s reinforced outer shell is made from ABS, a material known for its strength and durability.

Its purpose is to disperse impact energy across the helmet’s surface. When the helmet hits an object, the shell spreads the shock wave and dissipates its force.

ABS is both rigid and lightweight, while also offering excellent scratch resistance, ensuring durability for everyday riding.

The Inner Shell (EPS Liner)

Featuring an innovative new shape, the liner is made from EPS (expanded polystyrene).

The EPS liner absorbs and disperses impact energy during a fall. Upon impact, it compresses and becomes denser, helping reduce the force transmitted to the rider’s head.

Inside the liner, blue honeycomb pads using ERT – Energy Reduction Technology have been integrated.

This advanced technology provides:

- Improved energy distribution for both minor and major impacts

- Anti-rotational protection, helping reduce rotational forces during a moving fall

- During an impact, the honeycomb pads move along the shell and follow the natural movement of the head, helping reduce the risk of traumatic injury.

Ventilation System

The Précision Référence Eclipse riding helmet features an enhanced ventilation system for optimal comfort.

- 11 internal ventilation openings

- 2 main air vents positioned at the front and rear

This configuration promotes improved airflow and efficient temperature regulation.

Additional ventilation channels beneath the visor further enhance internal air circulation, keeping the rider’s head cool even during intense riding sessions.

Fastening System

The helmet is equipped with a Fidlock® magnetic buckle, designed for quick and easy fastening with one hand, even while mounted.

The chin strap also includes a polyamide safety ring, offering additional security and protection for the rider.

The harness system, made of leather and nylon, ensures excellent helmet stability.

This 3-point harness with a Y-shape configuration positions the attachment points farther apart, reducing helmet movement and ensuring a secure and stable fit.

The straps are made from durable nylon for long-lasting performance.

Removable Inner Liner

The inner liner is made from foam, Lycra, and 2D mesh, providing a precise and comfortable fit.

Removable and washable, it allows riders to maintain optimal hygiene and comfort.

The liner pads are included with the helmet.

Added Comfort Feature

Elastic panels at the rear of the helmet allow for better adaptability, making it comfortable to wear even with tied-up hair or a ponytail.

The Eclipse Visor

Both fashionable and elegant, the Eclipse wide visor is inspired by classic feminine hat designs.

The wide visor riding helmet design helps protect the rider’s face and skin from sun exposure and weather conditions, while maintaining an excellent field of vision.

According to the European EN1384-2023 standard, the visor must flex under pressure to prevent it from breaking and potentially injuring the rider.

For this reason, Antarès visors are intentionally flexible. If the visor becomes slightly deformed, it can easily be reshaped by hand.
